Okudu AI Terms of Service

1 Who can use Okudu

• You must be 13 + (or your country’s digital-consent age) and able to enter a contract.
• Keep your login safe; you’re responsible for what happens in your account.

2 Credits & Payments

• Certain actions like chapter creation cost credits. You may get credits for free (trial, ads, referrals etc) or buy them (one-off packs or auto-renewing subscriptions in the App / Play Store / Web).
• Trial credits limit: one set of trial credits per natural person. Making extra accounts to grab more trials is forbidden.
• Referral integrity: Self-referrals, fake accounts, or automated methods to earn credits are forbidden.
• Credits have no cash value, and can’t be transferred.
• Cancel renewals in the store settings. All sales are final (see Refunds Policy).

3 Your Content & Our Licence

• You own the original content (like your prompts) that you submit to the Service. For the AI-generated output, Okudu grants you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, and create derivative works from that output for any purpose, including commercial use.
• You give Okudu a world-wide, royalty-free licence to store, analyse, and use any User Content to run and improve the Service.
• If you choose to make your story public, you grant Okudu a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, adapt, and distribute that public story, in whole or in part, for Okudu’s promotional, marketing, and advertising purposes, including on websites, social media, and paid media. We won’t sell or publish your non-public stories without permission.
• Okudu retains all ownership and intellectual property rights to the Service itself, including our software, AI models, and brand assets.

4 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying components of our models, software, or systems.
• Use automated scripts, scrapers, or crawlers to access the Service in a way that could impair its functionality.
• Use the Service for spamming, phishing, or any other form of unsolicited communication.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity.

5 AI Warning

Stories are machine-generated and may contain mistakes, bias, or copyrighted references. Check before relying on or publishing them.

6 Copyright Complaints

Send DMCA-style notices with the work, URL, contact info, and sworn good-faith statement to the contact shared below. We may disable the content while we review.

7 Ending the Service

You can delete your account anytime under Settings. Violations or legal requirements can lead to content removal or account suspension.

8 Liability & Warranties

The Service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, Okudu’s total liability is capped at SGD 100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9 Law & Disputes

These Terms follow Singapore law. We’ll try to settle disputes by email within 30 days; unresolved matters go to the Singapore courts.

10 Changes

If we update these Terms, we’ll post the new version on this website. Using the Service after the effective date means you agree to the changes.
